Ombre!

After deciding that I for sure wanted to color my hair the next task was figuring out what color to do it! I rummaged through internet sites and pictures looking at different hair colors and combinations. When I came across the Ombre look I fell in love. I though it would be the perfect option for someone like me, who was looking for a change but nothing too drastic.
Ombre is a style of hair coloring in which the coloring process does not start at the root of the hair. The process starts about halfway down to create the effect of going from a darker shade to a lighter shade or shades.
Initially when I decided to go with the Ombre hair, I only considered going from dark brown to a lighter shade of brown or reddish brown. However, after I sat in the chair with my stylist his creative mind started working and he suggested going even lighter to blonder shades. I put my trust in him and told him “go ahead just do what ever, I trust you to have me looking great!” Here is the end result….
I must say I am extremely happy with the end result! It took me a few days to get used to the extreme color change but nevertheless it worked out perfectly for me! After the summer I plan to go back to a darker color, but the blonde is totally fun for the Summer that is rapidly approaching!

Love, love, love my M.A.C “Viva Nicki Glam” lipstick! Since I got it in the mail about a month ago I have worn it at least once every week! I’ve found that this particular coral shade of lipstick looks great with my skin tone! Did I mention that it lasts most of the day? Don’t do much re-applying with this one! Definitely happy with the choice to add it to my makeup bag for the Spring! Not to mention, that every cent that I paid for the lipstick went toward helping women, children, and men living with and affected by HIV and AIDS!
